![]() As Director of Business Marketing for Eckerd Telcom, Daniel Blum leads a national team responsible for developing and managing marketing programs focused on Eckerd Telcom’s industry groupings that account for over 90 percent of the business – telecommunications services, network and service providers, and manufacturing industries. This includes analyst and media relations, field and employee communications, sales force readiness, and comprehensive industry-specific web content. In addition, Blum also holds the position of Director of Industry Marketing for the Network & Service Provider Business, where he actively directs marketing strategy, program development and execution, and acts as a member of the Network & Service Provider management team. This dual role ensures that he remains as close as possible to Eckerd Telcom’s industry customers and leverages his 15 years of telecommunications expertise. Blum has extensive sales and marketing experience in solving unique industry business challenges with technology-based solutions and services. He has held several positions, including sales management, marketing management, and industry business development. Blum began his career in the industry with the Bell System prior to divestiture, and developed his interest in the convergence of communications and computing during his tenure with SBC Information Systems. Blum holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Southern California and an MBA from Stanford University. He lives in San Francisco, California. |
